Rhett's first visit to the dentist

He did GREAT!! No crying, no nervousness or fear, nothing! He came away with a big shiny smile, a Sponge Bob toothbrush, and his very own gift from the treasure ball (a koosh-ball thingy).

This one's for you, Grampa Wes!

I was sitting with Tessa in her room last night, and she was practicing writing her alphabet. She suddenly exclaimed, "I know how to write my initials!" and proceeds to write "T.E.T.W." (her periods, incidentally, were written in the center as opposed to the bottom of the line...Cale used to do this too).

She then pointed to each letter and said "Tessa Elyse TANGO Wolf!" :-)

We should have named her Scarlett...

We already have a Rhett, but are thinking that we chose the wrong child to name using a Gone With the Wind character. Randy and I agree that Tessa is definitely the personification of Scarlett O'Hara.

Our particular Scarlett spent most of this evening in her room, being punished for her "attitude." However frustrating her behavior is, though, I can't help but grin when I walk into her room and discover a Beanie Baby turkey dressed in a Barbie ballerina dress, a Webkinz dog with barrettes in her hair, and a tiny stuffed chicken in baby doll pajamas. I have to wonder what goes through her mind!
